The pollinator is Halictus sexcinctus. It is native to Europe and Asia, but was introduced also to North America. Edible plant - young leaflets raw or cooked; flowers have a unique flavour and are eaten or used as a garnish. Herbal plant - its main value is as a vermifuge to expel intestinal worms and, to a lesser degree, to help stimulate menstrual bleeding; should be used with caution! Possibly poisonous plant for people and cattle. Useful plant - acaridae repellent.
