The thirsty butterfly is Pieris brassicae. It is native to Europe and Asia, and introduced to North America. Possible invasive plant! Bumblebees feeding plant. Usable plant - foraging for cattle, but without seeds; foraging for birds - seeds especially; toxic for horses(!), used also as a green manure.
