Parentage possibly : Graptopetalum paraguayense x Sedum pachyphyllum.
Named by Ray Stephenson after the founder member of the Sedum Society Dr. Francesco Baldi (1917 – 2003) in Sedum Society Newsletter 19: 18-19 (1991).
Synonyms : xGraptoveria ‘Frostbite’ (Highland Succulents 1987/88, p.30), also sometimes labeled xGraptosedum 'Darley Sunshine', xG. ‘Pink Beauty’, xG. ‘Edelfrau’ and xSedeveria ‘Doinet’.
